Plans & Pricing
What counts as a 'product analyzed'?
A product is counted as analyzed the first time you run an AI analysis on it. Each unique SKU/product URL counts as one product. Re-running an analysis on the same product in a later period counts toward that period's quota. On the Free plan, re-analysis is not available to prevent abuse — each product can only be analyzed once.
How many products can I analyze on the free plan?
The Free plan includes up to 5 products analyzed per month, 5 custom tracked prompts, and ChatGPT coverage — no credit card required. You can upgrade to Starter ($249/mo), Growth ($799/mo), or Scale ($1,999/mo) for larger catalogs and more AI platforms.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes — you can cancel anytime through the billing portal in Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period and you won't be charged again. Your data and analyses are retained for 90 days after cancellation.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 7-day refund for first-time subscribers if OpKart doesn't meet your expectations. Contact us at arvi@opkart.co within 7 days of your first charge. Subsequent months are non-refundable.
Is there an annual discount?
We are working on annual billing with a 20% discount. Email arvi@opkart.co if you'd like to be notified when it launches or to arrange annual billing manually.
AI Platforms & Coverage
Which AI platforms are supported?
OpKart supports ChatGPT (OpenAI GPT-4o), Gemini (Google), and Perplexity (Sonar) — all routed through our internal AI infrastructure. You never need to provide your own API keys. Free and Starter plans include ChatGPT only. Growth and Scale plans add Gemini and Perplexity.
How is the visibility score calculated?
The visibility score is the percentage of analysis prompts in which your product was mentioned by the AI, weighted by the position where it appeared. A product mentioned first in 10 out of 25 prompts scores higher than one mentioned tenth in 20 prompts. Scores are calculated per platform and then averaged.
How often should I re-run analyses?
We recommend running analyses at least monthly, or after significant catalog changes (new products, updated descriptions, price changes). AI models update frequently, so what worked last quarter may not hold today. The Monitoring section tracks changes over time automatically.
What are 'custom tracked prompts'?
Custom prompts are real shopping queries you define — like 'best waterproof running shoes under $150' — which OpKart runs against all your AI platforms on your schedule. They give you precise insight into which prompts trigger your products vs. competitors, beyond the default 25 analysis prompts per product.
Can I test location-specific AI responses?
Yes. Growth and Scale plans include country-specific analysis. You can specify a target market (e.g. Germany, USA, UK) and OpKart frames the AI prompts with local context — useful for international brands managing visibility across different regional AI behaviors.
Importing & Platform Support
Which e-commerce platforms does OpKart support?
OpKart supports Shopify (via URL or OAuth), WooCommerce (via URL or API key), Wix (via URL), and any platform via JSON, CSV, or XML file upload. For Shopify and WooCommerce you can also push enriched content back to your store automatically.
Do I need Shopify Admin API access?
For two-way sync (importing and pushing enriched content back), you'll need to install the OpKart Shopify app via OAuth. However, if you just want to analyze products, you can start by entering your public Shopify storefront URL — we'll import product data without any admin access.
Can I import products without an e-commerce platform integration?
Absolutely. Upload a CSV, JSON, or XML product feed file and OpKart will import and analyze your catalog immediately. This works for any platform — including BigCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, or a completely custom store. XML uploads support Google Merchant Center feed format.
How many products can I import?
You can import as many products as you want — import limits are separate from analysis limits. Importing 500 products doesn't count against your monthly quota. Only running an AI analysis on a product counts.
Content Enrichment & Sync
Does OpKart change my Shopify content automatically?
No — OpKart never modifies your store content without your explicit approval. All AI-enriched content goes through a review step where you can accept, edit, or reject individual fields. You then choose to apply changes to your store, download a JSON file, or copy the enriched text manually.
What fields does the AI enrichment update?
OpKart enriches: title, description, SEO meta title, SEO meta description, key features, use cases, target audience, tags, material, and certifications. Each field is presented side-by-side with your current content so you can review before accepting.
Can I edit the AI-enriched content before saving?
Yes. For every field, you can Accept (use the AI suggestion), Edit (modify it before saving), or Reject (keep your original). Once you've reviewed all fields, click 'Save accepted changes' to apply your decisions.
Does enriching content guarantee AI platforms will mention my product?
Enrichment significantly improves the chance that AI assistants can understand and recommend your product — but no tool can guarantee placement in AI answers. What we can guarantee is that better-structured, more complete product information gives you a much stronger signal to AI models than thin or missing content.
Privacy & Security
How secure is my data and content?
All data is stored in an encrypted Postgres database (Supabase). Product content is never shared between workspaces. AI prompts and responses are processed through our secure server-side AI infrastructure — we never send your product data to AI providers without your explicit action. Session cookies are HTTP-only and signed.
Is my product data used to train AI models?
No. OpKart processes your product data through the AI APIs to generate analysis and enrichment results. We do not use your data to train or fine-tune any AI models. You retain full ownership of your product catalog and content.
Where is my data stored?
OpKart stores all data in Supabase (hosted on AWS in the EU region). Product content, analysis results, and workspace settings are stored securely and never shared with other users.
